Antony Kimani and David King’atua’s goals helped Bandari to sink relegation threatened Nairobi City Stars 2-1 in a Kenya Premier League match played at Mombasa stadium on Saturday.
Bandari’s dorminance of the tie bore fruit in the 34th minute after Antony Kimani rammed home a Mussa Mudde header to put the Dockers 1-0 up.
City Stars, however, drew level through Ebrimah Sannah who headed in Oscar Mbugua corner kick in the 72nd before going down one man less four minutes later after substitute Yusuf Sap picked a red card for a second bookable offence.
David King’atua condemned his former employer with a stunner eight minutes to stoppage time to hand Twahir Muhiddin coached a well deserved 2-1 win.
Elsewhere, John Makwat bagged a hat-trick as Unlzi Stars bounced back from a goal down to trounce Chemelil Sugar 3-2 at Moi stadium, Kisumu.
The Sugar Millers netted through Meshack Karani and Samuel Olwade, while Ulinzi will have Makwata to thank for a heroic performance that saw them rally from behind to claim a 3-2 triumph.
