Kenya leads the World for the first time ever in this year’s IAAF World Championship after scooping a total of 16 medals in Beijing, China.
Kenya won 7 gold, 6 silver and 3 bronze to finish top in the World Championship after Asbel Kiprop closed the day with gold for Kenya and Elijah Motonei Manangoi settled for silver in the men’s 1500m final on Sunday..
Jamaica followed Kenya in Second position with 12 medals among them 7gold, 2siliver and 3 bronze.
USA was third with 5 gold,6 silver and 6 bronze to sum up the best three top countries in the World Championship.
