TNA has finally exonerated Gatundu North MP Moses Kuria from claims of incitement
The decision was reached Thursday after TNA party disciplinary committee found Kuria not guilty of accusations raised against him over alleged incitement statements directed to a certain community in the country.
The committee chairman Washington Makadingo termed allegation raised against the Gatundu North MP as baseless and ill motivated.
He also thrashed evidences presented before his committee claiming that Kuria’s statement might have been doctored with an intention of fixing him politically.
“We can not trust the evidence raised against the Gatundu North MP, May be someone might have doctored them for reasons not known to us” Makadingo said.
Kuria had earlier complained against TNA handling the case when the matter was still in Court.
Kuria through his Lawyer Danson Mungatana instead asked political parties in the country to come up with internal conflict resolution mechanisms .
TNA chairman Johnson Sakaja had rebuked Kuria and demanded that he be investigated over the alleged incitement.
Kuria was accused of issuing statements allegedly intended to cause ethnic animosity among certain communities in the country.
