Show exhibitors ready for 2015 Mombasa International Show.

More than 250 exhibitors are set to participate in this year’s Mombasa International ASK Show which opens its gates to the public on Wednesday.

The Mombasa show which runs from 24th  – 30th  August 2015 will officially be opened by President Uhuru Kenyatta at the famous Mkomani Show ground on Thursday.

Mombasa Executive Committee for Agriculture Anthony Njaramba who is also a member of the Mombasa ASK show organizing committee confirmed that Show preparations were almost complete and exhibitors participation was impressive.

Thousands of show goers are already thronging the show ground and many more are expected from Wednesday after the official opening.

On Tuesday exhibitors were in a rush to make final touches on their stands which were inspected by ASK-appointed judges the same day, with winners expected to be rewarded on Thursday.

Baraka FM is among exhibitors who made a surprise come back at the show this year, and will be showcasing its on-air and on-ground products including live talk shows, music and concerts during the five day event.

A team led by Baraka FM Business Development and Operations Manager Barbra Mkala is already on the ground preparing the stand for the biggest ever on-ground, on-air and online entertainment events ever organized for Mombasa show goers.

Baraka FM will also offer show goers with an opportunity to interact with its popular presenters and award winning journalists as the company also show cases also its success in the country’s media industry.

The theme for this year’s show organized by Agricultural Society of Kenya (ASK) is; Enhancing Technology in Agriculture and Industry for Food Security and National Growth. 

Other new entrants this year include the National Land Commission and Kenya National Assembly.

Meanwhile Mombasa County security team led by County commissioner Nelson Marwa, has assured exhibitors, show goers and the public of enhanced security during and after the show.
