Pastor James Ng’ang’a has finally been released from custody.
He was released early Friday after paying ksh. 500,000 cash bail and surety of ksh 1million.
This follows a ruing made Friday by Limuru Chief Magistrate Timothy Ole Tanchu.
Pastor Ng’ang’a had been in police custody since Wednesday after the court denied him bail.
He was on Thursday arraigned in a Limuru Court and charged with four counts related to fatal death.
Pastor Ng’ang’a was arrested in Nairobi on Wednesday after Director of Public Prosecution directed that he be charged over death of Mercy Keino that occurred along Nairobi – Nakuru highway on Sunday July 26..
On Thursday night, robbers raided his home at Karen , Nairobi and disappeared with goods of unknown value.
The robbery took place when Pastor Ng’ang’a was still in police custody . His family was also not at home during the robbery.
