Pastor Ng’ang’a to spend second day in police custody .

James Nganga of Neno Evangelism was on Thursday arraigned in a Limuru Court and charged with three counts related to dangerous driving which ended with fatal death.

He denied all the counts and ordered to be remanded at Gigiri Police Station until Friday when the court will make a ruling on his request for a bond.

Pastor Ng’ang’a was arrested in Nairobi on Wednesday after DPP directed that he be charged over death of Mercy  Keino that occurred along Nairobi – Nakuru highway on Sunday July 26..

Pastor Nganga carHe was also charged with failing to report an accident within 24 hours and giving false information to a police officer.

Two police officers were also charged along with him over conspiracy to defeat justice after they were linked to a cover up of the incident

The two are police inspectors Christopher Nzioka and Patrick Baya who Tobiko accused of  neglecting their police duty by mishandling the case.

Inspector Nzioka and Baya faced an additional charge of giving false information to police.
