The six were charged along with former Chief Registrar of Judiciary Gladys Boss Shollei who failed to appear in court.
Chief Magistrate Kennedy Bidali however deferred Mrs Shollei’s plea to 24th August since she was out of the country.
Her co-accused Kakai Kissinger, Martin Okwatt, Benedict Omolo, Thomas Oloko Atak, Nicholas Mbeba, Wycliffe Wanga were charged with engaging in irregular purchase of residential house for Chief Justice Willy Mutunga, valued at kshs. 310 million.
The six were also accused of failing to ensure the judiciary purchases the property at prevailing market prices.
They denied the charges and were released on a bond worth kshs 1.5 million.
